Monday, June 15, marked the beginning of Water Carnival Week and the kick off of the Music in the Park summer concert series in Library Square. The downtown park was crowded with people for the the annual Flag Day Ceremony, introduction of Water Carnival Queen and Junior Royalty candidates, pie and ice cream social by the Does, and music by the New Ulm Concord Singers.
